Chase Deso is an experimental electronic musician and composer based out of Los Angeles.
He has scored multiple Emmy award nominated shows and films, including Aka Charlie Sheen (NETFLIX), Splinter Cell: Deathwatch (NETFLIX), Ozark (NETFLIX), Pieces of Her (NETFLIX), Monster Inside (HULU), Fear the Walking Dead (AMC), Pepsi, Where’s My Jet (NETFLIX), The Curse of Von Dutch (HULU), The Lady and The Dale (HBO), The Outsider (HBO).
Born and raised in Texas, Chase drew inspiration from the gritty blues and jazz of Dallas and the experimental sounds emerging from Denton and New York City in the 1990s. By 13 he was already playing guitar, piano, and trumpet, while afternoons in his grandfather’s TV-repair shop—surrounded by electronics and vintage test gear—sparked a lifelong fascination with sound design. These experiences shaped his unique compositional style: experimental production techniques grounded in the timeless warmth of acoustic instrumentation.
After Graduating Berklee College of Music in 2009, Chase moved to New York City where he became a long time collaborator with Saunder Jurriaans and Daniel Bensi. He currently works out of his studio in the historic Glassell Park neighborhood in Los Angeles.
